Rockland Community College offers a Certified Home Health Aide program designed to equip students with essential skills and knowledge for a career in home healthcare. The curriculum focuses on the basic duties, procedures, and responsibilities of a home health aide, emphasizing effective communication, safety precautions, and caring for specific populations. Upon completion, students receive a certificate through the New York State Home Care Worker Registry (HCWR). The program includes 75 hours of instruction accompanied by supervised clinical experience.

Registration and Course Details

The upcoming Home Health Aide program at Rockland Community College will be conducted in person at the Suffern location.
